The VGM in collaboration with the Timber Framers Guild will be constructing a timber framed gazebo on the Museum property. Date in 2012 will be announced. If interested in participating please send your inquiry to info@stoneartsschool.org and we notify you of our schedule.

This is an introductory course to teach the fundamentals of cemetery lettering that can be done in the studio or on site. You will learn terminology, tools, and beginning techniques. Instructor Homer Peake.

At the Vermont Granite Museum and Stone Arts School
A course for beginners interested in learning the art of building a traditional field stone wall. No mortar will be used. This course is suitable for anyone regardless of level of experience or previous work.

This course is sponsored in partnership with Historic Windsor’s Preservation Education Institute (HWI/PEI). The Preservation Education Institute is a registered provider of AIA continuing education. 12 hours of learning units for this course for an additional fee of $15 to cover administrative costs.
