A course for beginners interested in learning the art of building a traditional field stone wall. No mortar will be used. This course is suitable for anyone regardless of level of experience or previous work.

This course is sponsored in partnership with Historic Windsor’s Preservation Education Institute (HWI/PEI). The Preservation Education Institute is a registered provider of AIA continuing education. 12 hours of learning units for this course for an additional fee of $15 to cover administrative costs. You must bring your own tools, safety glasses, gloves, and hard tipped shoes. You are responsible for your own lunch and should plan on bringing a water bottle that can be refilled. If you have questions about tools or safety equipment contact the instructor at michael@thistlestoneworks.com
Course will be taught by Michael Weittzner who holds a Master Craftsman Certificate and an Instructor’s Certificate, issued by the DSWA
